Primera jornada
All good at 90 MB. Arrived at about 1, Len was keen for a sail, headed straight for the beach, 10 knts sea breeze, perfect both ways. Sailed for 90 minutes before deciding to head back to camp to unpack. Managed to get in he Orca Trophy race while the wind was up. Len and I also won the relay. Some changes to the camp, barbeque being rebuilt today after someone burnt it down, kitchen and bar back to being usable again, looking tidy after some painting.
Dinner at John and Liz's place for the 10 who are here. Forecast is the same for tomorrow, fine with a sea breeze about midday. Photos of Len using the other CRC kart with his own sails.

Segunda jornada
"Great day at 90 MB with the wind coming in at the right time for a 12.30 start. Most were here by then and we had a big group sailing by 1 pm. The wind got a bit stronger so a few went to 4 metres which was definitely a bit faster especially over the longer courses. We sailed 4 short courses, 3 longer races of a few km along the beach and back and also the slalom, an interesting race but no real passing lanes.
Then an hour to free sail. Jon Rosie and I headed north and sat on 40+ km/hr for about 15 minutes with Rosie leading and not wanting to turn back. Then almost as fast all the way back to the cars, just one of those nice sails, main cleated and not much between the 3 of us in speed. Winners today were Graeme, Tony, Bill, Len, Rosie and Alex. Looks like Graeme! Jon, Rosie and Alex were going the fastest today so could be an interesting Orca Memorial Race coming up. Damn lightweights! All good and photos will follow. Almost time for the pot luck dinner
Hmmm, the fun has begun. Neil F and Linda have been welcomed to their 1st 90 MB trip at dinner tonight with many of the tales of past trips plus the photo board in the dining room.
Fine weather, 10-12 knts of breeze and lots of beach to play on as can be seen from the photos. More of the same tomorrow."

Tercera jornada
Busy day for the team at 90 MB. We started with the Kubb tournament, still to be co obeyed with the final to be played between Brian and Rosie against Grant and Lu.

We headed for the beach about 12.30 but not a lot of breeze. After a couple for races we sat around for about an hour tail more wind came in. Then we sailed another 4 races including a couple going north. We finished the day with a so called photo shoot but no-one can sail together long enough to get some decent photos.

Cuarta jornada
Fine and hot for the 4th day at 90 MB. The wind is starting to kick in now. A big day on the beach with a few warm up races then the relay followed by the Orca Memorial Trophy race. Everyone is getting ready for this big one, especially with the past winners not competing. Lots of bearings being checked, battens being changed and decisions being made on sail and mast combinations. The last two days have shown it is going to be a light weight race with the heavy weights struggling a bit in the cross the wind sailing.
Brian started the day by arriving with half naked girls he picked up on the beach. :o

6 races in light winds, then the relay and luckily we ended up with a 10-12 knt breeze coming in just in time for the Orca Memorial Trophy race. After 36 min and 46 seconds Russell took out the trophy, followed by Graham(with broken arm) and Graeme who beat Jon by 1 second. Fantastic race in ideal conditions.
