IRISH OPEN MINI-YACHT CHAMPIONSHIPS


NOTICE OF RACE
SATURDAY 1st & SUNDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2012
VENUE: BENONE BEACH, LIMAVADY, CO. LONDONDERRY

ENTRY FEE:
£40 per competitor, £30 junior for the weekend to include lunch on the beach on
Saturday and Sunday plus Saturday evening meal at The Point Bar and Restaurant,
107 Point Road, Limavady

REGISTRATION:
BLSA Members should register via the racing tab headed B Series Registration on the
BLSA website www.theblsa.com (http://www.theblsa.com) and event pre-payment is a must. Cheques should
be made payable to: ‘The BLSA’ and sent to Chris Selway, The BLSA Secretary, 25
Wraxall Road, Warmley, BRISTOL, BS30 8DN.

Racing will take place under the EBA rules and the BLSA ‘B’ Series competitors will be
awarded prizes in the Production and Performance Categories for Light weight and
Heavy weight in each division. Light weight is up to 85kgs. Heavy weight above
85kgs.
Blokart ‘B’ Series competitors will be automatically entered to the mini-yacht
championships and have the opportunity to win the overall championships.
Scoring method used will be the usual one discard for every four races, 0 points for
1st place, 1 points/ 2 points / 3 points for respective places.
All sailors will run together where possible at the discretion of the Race Officer on the
day.
BLSA members will be scored by the transponder system – if you have your own transponder bring it along. Transponder rental is available to blsa members at a cost of £10 for the weekend (not included in the entry fee). Limited number of Blokarts and sails will be available for hire for the event on a first
come first served basis, booking is essential. Contact Pat Letters on 07703209989.

Friday 31st August 2012 - informal sailing on Benone Beach.
Low tide approx 1.30pm for early arrivals.

SATURDAY 1st SEPTEMBER 2012
Welcome and Registration: 9.30am – 10.30am
Scrutineering in the pits area: 10.30am – 11.00am
First briefing: 11.30am
First possible race: 12.00 noon
Evening meal from 7.30pm

SUNDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2012
First briefing: 11.00am
First possible race: 12.00 noon
Prizegiving: 6.00pm

  La playa increible!...que bonita competicion. Parece que la organizacion la llevo a cabo Patrick Letters y Jo...enhorabuena a todos los participantes.

Pués tiene guasa, porque en el Estado español, hay lugares donde se respeta, pero se interpreta de otra manera. Ejemplo: Punta Umbría. Por lo que sea, no es lo mismo allí, que aquí por el Mediterráneo, por ejemplo también...país  :idiot2:.

Debo de estar hoy un poco espeso porque no acabo de entender el comentario. Lo que queria decir es que por lo que veo son mas permisivos que aqui y aún así el resultado final de la calidad natural sus costas es mejor que el
nuestro, (por lo menos las que conocí en Irlanda, y Escocia), salvajes e impecables.
