Joer..se ha llevado a 3 personas por delante. Vaya tornado.   :(

Twilight Blokart Sailing

Gumboot (LSD Forum member) made the trek from Far North Queensland, Australia to Auckland, New Zealand for two twilight blokart events… now that is dedication for you. Gumboot is a past blokart world champion who is gearing up for 2014 world championships to be held in Perth, Western Australia. Joining in at the Royal Akarana Yacht Club’s Tuesday Blokart series, and then again at the Auckland Blokart Club’s Thursday series he was able to get in a massive 16 races in two evenings, giving quality race practice with tight racing against our own LSD team of Navig8r and Buoy.

If you have ever felt the need for speed, and wanted to experience apparent wind sailing then why not climb in to one of these machines. All are welcome to come to the Royal Akarana Tuesday twilights (next one on Feb 26th) or head to your nearest blokart club. Why not ? with the Perth Worlds just around the corner its a great time to get involved.

Not content with just practicing his racing skills, Gumboot found time to film and edit these amazing videos of the two race nights.

"Many thanks to Club manager Russell Harray and all the enthusiastic Auckland Blokart Club (ABC) members for their sincere cooperation over several days of random video shooting at Ardmore Airport, Auckland, NZ. The GoPro cameras were in their element and great fun was had by all. Enjoy my 1st impressions of this exciting, affordable and friendly activity which is yet another unique NZ innovation.

Cheers, Gary Foster"
