NOW IS THE TIME TO START MAKING PLANS TO ATTEND
The 2014 event is planned to be 7 days of sailing a mix of 4 days of casual sailing that anyone sail the entire Ivanpah Dry Lake or sail the practice course that will be set up for those that have the need to pass other blokart sailors.
The North American Blokart Sailing Championships will also be held during 3 days of racing using IBRA rules. All participants will be expected to volunteer and help with scoring marshaling and other duties needed to run the racing. The fleet will be divided into 2 groups racing at separate times. Those you are not racing will have the rest of the dry lake to sail on. Rumor is that we will have some International attendees this year, they can't stay away from possibly one of the best land sailing sites in the world.
The location is 40 miles from Las Vegas off of Interstate 15 at the CA/NV border. A group rate for lodging will be arranged at the Primm Valley Casino which borders Ivanpah Dry Lake. The rate should be around $33.00 a week night and $65.00 Fri and Sat night.
